I just completed the long return trip from Kentucky after dropping off the set of Windsors to their new home. They’re currently sitting around a dining table in southern KY. It’s good to have them in Appalachia and I can breathe a sigh of relief.

The last step of every chair build is a coat of wax. This time it happened while traveling, to give the poly the longest possible time to cure. Why did the finish need a little more time? Workflow issues. I blame the scheduler and estimator (….I am both of those roles).

I have a favorite process. One that came about by accident, using a wax that I initially scoffed at - Howard’s Feed-N-Wax. The name initially scared me. It sounds like a scam….
