You’re asking all the questions I would want to know the answers to! I’m very excited to read your book.

I have found that I need to set aside time and systems to work on sales and marketing, otherwise the making aspect expands to fill all time. Like you, I’ve found that I need to get my work in front of people. Instagram and my web site bring people to my doorstep, but it’s really seeing the processes and handling my work that gets non-makers excited.

Thanks. I know there are makers out there that put events/shows on the calendar to ensure they make it happen. I like hearing how others go about it...

And here I am a high school shop teacher who struggles with the making and selling part. It's all about finding that balance for yourself.

I think the struggle is part of it. It's always nice hearing how people find success. I know I like hearing about it from others... Hope it's been a good year in the classroom.

Class has been going very well this year. Thank you for asking. I have some really good students and we're learning a lot.

Thanks for the notice about Handworks in 2026. We're working on booking a place to stay.
